The Wellington Phoenix kicks off the month of March – our ‘Wollongong Appreciation Month’ - with its first double-header of the season; you can watch the Phoenix take on Perth Glory AND see the Wollongong Wolves square off against Manly United in the NPL, all for the price of a single ticket!
Although Wellington and Perth have set aside their Distance Derby rivalry this season, there will still be fireworks when these two clubs face each other for the first time this season; the Phoenix will be seeking revenge for Perth bouncing them out of the Finals series in August last year, while Perth are eager to move into a top six position.
It’ll be a battle of some of the top names in the A-League, with Ulises Davila and David Ball matching up against Bruno Fornaroli and Diego Castro, with exciting Aussie youngsters Reno Piscopo, Cameron Devlin and Perth’s Nick D'Agostino all set to feature heavily in this grudge match in Wollongong.
