Latest on COVIDSafe Measures

Tuesday 14 July 2020 4:05pm

The easing of COVID-19 restrictions by the NSW Government means a reduced-capacity crowd will be permitted at WIN Stadium.

Venues NSW, owner and operator of WIN Stadium, has developed a COVID-19 Safety Plan which aligns to the framework issued by the NSW Health Department, to ensure WIN Stadium is operationally ready and safe to welcome fans back.

To assist in making the Stadium as safe and accessible as possible, the following initiatives have been put in place:

  • A COVID-19 Safety Plan will be actioned and focusses on keeping our staff and patrons safe
  • There is high-touch cleaning of all areas
  • There will be no cash facilities at the Stadium. All transactions will be by contactless card.
  • Due to increased cases of COVID-19 in the state of Victoria, customers holding a permanent address/residence in Victoria will not be permitted into the venue.

  • Stay home if you have been feeling unwell
  • Practice good hygiene
  • Entry will be strictly via the gate printed on your ticket
  • Standard public transport services are continuing to operate. Please allow plenty of travel time to avoid disappointment
  • The Dragons shuttle bus services will not be in operation for this event due to the decrease in demand
  • Parking and Public Transport Options information is found here.
  • Download the COVIDSafe App.

Attendance is subject to WIN Stadium conditions of entry, below:

  • Due to increased cases of COVID-19 in the state of Victoria, customers holding a permanent address/residence in Victoria will not be permitted into the venue.
  • Please be advised random identification checks will be carried out by Venue Staff to support this COVIDSafe directive.
  • By visiting WIN Stadium you acknowledge your role in helping to successfully carry out the COVID-19 Safety plan including the details above.

Fans must immediately notify Stadium Staff if they begin to feel ill, or develop any COVID-19 symptoms (including fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell/taste, runny nose, muscle pain, nausea/vomiting, diarrhoea).

Note: If a person is displaying any of the above symptoms, the Stadium reserves the right to refuse entry to or exclude that person from the venue.

The Stadium requests that all patrons attending an event avoid unnecessary contact (i.e. shaking hands, hugging) to reduce the possible spread of the virus.

Please see here for WIN Stadium’s COVIDSafe Fact Sheet.

We encourage fans travelling to the stadium to plan ahead and allow extra travel time. There is plenty of parking available and within walking distance of the stadium, and fans are encouraged to plan to arrive early as parking is expected to be in high demand.

Standard public transport services are continuing to operate at a reduced capacity to maintain physical distancing across the network. Fans are encouraged to allow plenty of additional travel time and plan ahead by checking real-time capacity indicators where available. Fans may need to wait for the next service with available physical distancing capacity.

Additional measures will be in place to safely manage crowds leaving a game at WIN Stadium, but patrons are reminded to be patient and practise physical distancing while staff work hard to get you home safely.

Specific Transport Information for this game cna be found here
